What is this Wiki all about?

This Wiki is about some collective visions of "the future of work" from the perspectives of a senior secondary class of overseas students who are studying ESL in Australia. The links below will take you to pages which capture the outcomes of some small group projects and whole class projects on some really interesting topics. These pages show the potential of wikis as a way for students to collaborate in resource-based learning using emerging technologies as a means to research, communicate and plan together, in order to complete an oral presentation and written tasks.

Hi Jean and The Future of Work class - I just found this wiki through the eLearning Showcasing Event Wiki. It's terrific and a great example of how a wiki can be used as part of the teaching and learning experience. It would be great if you added the link to our Social Software for Learning Research Wiki (under T&L Sites) - https://socialsoftware-research.wikispaces.com/TandLSites and also participated in our Social Software for Learning Survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=265542882459 - with your experience you would have some great insights to share. Thanks for sharing this with us all.
